a bit more work with color schemes and topmod. the first 4 or 5 renders of this were with a orange, green, blue scheme that turned out decent. the topmod object turned out a little choppy after 5mins. but then a little editing in c4d helped it out a lot. after so many renders, i decided to change it up a bit. it's a lot less vibrant, but....i think that's ok. in the beginning, i rendered it in vray, then ar3, then fry. and compared them all. 1920x1200 objects made in topmod, setup in c4d, rendered w/ fryrender.
